Penza, 10 January 2014. PenzaNews. 54 women were arrested for prostitution within the framework of “Putana” operation finished in the territory of the Penza region.

“Police have checked 40 places where prostitutes gathered. The largest number of such places was spotted in the territory of Oktyabrsky and Pervomaysky districts of Penza, as well as in Kuznetsk and Kuznetsky area. Places of prostitutes’ gathering were found in Gorodischensky, Nizhnelomovsky and Kamensky areas,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The press service added that administrative protocols were drawn up against all the women detained.

“Furthermore, in the course of the operation, we managed to find four people on the wanted list,” the press service said.
