Penza, 20 January 2014. PenzaNews. 22 drivers were detained by traffic police inspectors for driving while intoxicated during inspection raids conducted in Penza last weekend.

“Three drunk drivers were arrested in Nizhnelomovsky area, two more in Serdobsky and two in Penza area,” the group of propaganda of Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region reported.

The Traffic Police specified that 18 inspection crews were involved in conducting inspection raids each day of the weekend.

“There were no road accidents registered involving intoxicated drivers,” the department noted.
