The deputy of assembly of the representatives of Kolyshleysky area, the Penza region, of the third convocation, who is also the head of a commercial organization, is accused of stealing over 124,5 thousand cubic meters of natural gas for the amount of 610 thousand rubles.

“According to the investigation, in order to reduce the costs of production activities of his enterprise, the man illegally cut into the central gas pipeline owned by LLC “GAZPROM MEZHREGIONGAZ PENZA.” As a result of illegal actions, gas arrived into the boiler room of the enterprise bypassing the gas-meter,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova.

She specified that the damage caused by the actions of the accused is considered as major.

“A man is charged with committing an offense under subsection “b” and “c” Part 3, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code “Theft.” The criminal case was sent to court for consideration on the merits,” the agency interlocutor said.
