Penza, 3 February 2014. PenzaNews. A 20-year-old resident of Penza was accused of spreading pornography via the Internet.

“According to the investigation, during the period from September to October 2013 on the page of the social network “VKontakte,” the young man posted pornographic videos available for viewing and copying by other users of the service, thereby he publicly displayed and distributed them,” the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza, Media relations, Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She said that by now the investigator has collected sufficient evidence which is enough to send a criminal case to the court for consideration on the merits.

Sanction “b” Part 3, Art. 242 of the Criminal Code “Illicit manufacturing and trafficking of pornographic materials or objects” provides for penalties of up to imprisonment for the period of 6 years.
