Over two thousand bottles of counterfeit vodka seized in Nizhny Lomov

Nizhny Lomov, 4 February 2014. PenzaNews. Over two thousand bottles of counterfeit vodka were seized by the police from two garages located in Nizhny Lomov, the Penza region, and owned by individually.
As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region told news agency “PenzaNews,” the large batch of illegal alcohol was found in the course of operational - investigative activities.
“A part of the bottles was labeled with federal special stamps with signs of forgery. The rest of the batch had no labels at all,” the ministry explained.
The department added that all the seized products were sent to verification to determine the presence of substances that could be hazardous to human life and health, as well as the authentication of federal special stamps.
“The police are searching for the manufacturer of alcohol and supply channels in the Penza region,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region summarized.
