Penza, 6 February 2014. PenzaNews. A man, who was driving “VAZ-21121” at the moment of collision with the crossover “BMW X3” in Proletarskaya Street in Penza, was drunk. This was announced by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The ministry explained that the accident occurred on Wednesday, February 5, after a while after receiving a signal about the car theft.

“The incident is under investigation, the decision of filing a criminal case has not been made yet,” the press service of the ministry told news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to the management of traffic police in the Penza region, as a result of the accident, two passengers of “BMW-X3” — a woman and a child — received injuries.

“The woman was diagnosed closed fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone on the left foot, and the boy, born 2006, received chest bruises,” the traffic police clarified.
