Penza, 14 February 2014. PenzaNews. A 26-year-old woman, who moved to Penza from the Ulyanovsk area with her mother and minor daughter, is accused of death of a 47-year-old man, whom she rented an apartment from.

The victim's body was found in a house in Ulyanovskaya Street on February 6, 2014.

“According to the investigation, on February 2, the woman and the owner of the rented accommodation had a conflict. During the fight, the woman hit the man with a glass bottle on the head. The man died from the injuries at the scene,” the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media relations division, Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She said that the tenant is accused under Part 4, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.”

“Sanction of the article provides for up to 15 years,” the agency interlocutor added.

The criminal investigation continues.
