Lamp post crushed by drunk teenagers driving “Peugeot” in Penza

Penza, 21 February 2014. PenzaNews. Penza police are investigating circumstances of an accident that occurred near house No. 53 in Lunacharskogo Street.

“According to preliminary data, at 22.10 on Thursday, February 20, a 20-year-old driver lost control and hit a lamp post. As a result, he and two teenage passengers — a boy and a girl aged 17 — were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry clarified that the passengers were in a state of intoxication.

“The driver had his blood tested,” the press service added.
