Penza, 13 March 2014. PenzaNews. A resident of Oktyabrsky district of Penza, sentenced to 10 months of correctional labor with deduction of 10% of her earnings in state favor for failure to pay alimony to her daughter in 2012, will suffer the same penalty yet again.

“After serving her previous sentence the woman obviously made no conclusions, she did not reconsider her behavior, did not find a job, and did not pay the alimony. In this connection, a criminal case under Part 1, Art. 157 of the Criminal Code “Malicious evasion of child support or disabled parents support,” on the consideration of which, the negligent mother was sentenced to seven months of correctional labor with deduction of 10% of earnings in favor of the state,” the chief expert in media relations of the regional administration of Federal service of judicial bailiffs Kseniya Pivovarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She explained that in case of further evasion of her parental responsibilities, she will face harsher punishment — including imprisonment.
