Egyptian sentenced to 2,5 years of imprisonment for possession of hashish in Penza

Penza, 21 March 2014. PenzaNews. A citizen of Egypt, convicted of illegal possession of drugs without intent of selling on a large scale, was sentenced to 2,5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.

“It was established that the man illegally acquired over 233 grams of hashish and kept it to himself for personal use until August 18, 2013, when he left by bus from Moscow to Penza. The next day, arriving at the destination, he went to his place of residence, where he was detained by drug control service,” the official representative of Oktyabrsky District Court of Penza told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He added that the citizen of Egypt agreed with the charges completely.

“The verdict has come into force,” the agency interlocutor said.
