Penza, 26 May 2014. PenzaNews. A 13-year-old schoolgirl was killed in a collision of cars “VAZ-2107” and “Mitsubishi Lancer” at “Penza – Lunino” road.

“The incident occurred on Sunday, May 25. It was pre-established that “VAZ-2107” operated by a 33-year-old resident of Penza was turning left and collided with a foreign car which was overtaking him,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry clarified that the girl, who was a passenger in the foreign car, died of injuries on the spot.

“Another passenger — a 33-year-old woman — was hospitalized,” the ministry noted.

The press service added that the drivers had their blood tested.

Further circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
