Former teacher accused of obscene actions against student in Penza

Penza, 26 May 2014. PenzaNews. A former teacher of versatile grammar school No. 13 of Penza is accused of committing obscene actions against a student under 16 years of age. According to an anonymous source, a criminal case with the confirmation of the indictment is pending in Oktyabrsky district court of Penza. “This case was transferred to the court about a week ago. Currently it is under investigation. I think that by the end of this week or beginning of the next one, the sentence will be passed,” the agency interlocutor said.

In turn, the representative of Oktyabrsky district court of Penza Olesya Bakhteeva refused to comment on this case, citing the fact that the victim is a minor.

In addition, she clarified that the hearing is closed for audience.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, from February 21 up to now, no official information is available as to the case of sexual obscene actions of the teacher committed y a teacher against a student.

However, in late February, the director of school No. 13 of Penza Elena Tymchenko confirmed the detention of the teacher by the investigating authorities and his dismissal from work.

According to information available, the case was changed from Art. 133 of the Criminal Code “Coercion to sexual acts” to Art. 135 of the Criminal Code “Lecherous actions.”
