Penza, 20 June 2014. PenzaNews. A 20-year-old resident of the Penza region was convicted of a crime under part 1, of art. 134 of the Criminal Code “Sexual intercourse with person under 16 years of age.”

As the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza, Media relations, Lyudmila Fomina, in January 2014 in the house of acquaintance, the defendant committed sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl while the man was fairly aware of her age.

“The incident came to light when the victim turned to the gynecologist because of a pregnancy,” the agency interlocutor explained.

The man was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment suspended.
