Penza, 23 June 2014. PenzaNews. Bodies of a man and a woman with signs of violent death, who went missing on May 8, 2014, in the murder of who a man confessed a few minutes before he shot himself in the chest and then blew himself up using grenade near hotel “Lastochka,” were found by the police during the inspection of the forest near Zasechny village, the Penza region.

As the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza, Media relations, Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzaNews,” the data obtained during the inspection — clothing and biometrics — give reason to believe that the dead are resident of Ternovka Maria Lipilina, born 1984, and resident of Zasechny Ramil Kadyshev, born in 1985.

“However, the investigating authorities set a series of examinations in order to have reliable identification done,” the agency interlocutor explained.

Currently, the investigating team continue to work on the site.

“Versions of the crime are being worked through,” Lyudmila Fomina said.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, on May 8, 2014, in Penza two people went missing — the resident of Ternovka Maria Lipilina, born 1984, and the resident of Zasechny Ramil Kadyshev, born 1985. The man drove his car “Kia Cerato” silver.

According to reports, on the day of disappearance the young men were last seen in the shopping center “Retail Park” in Penza.

On May 30, near hotel “Lastochka,” passersby noticed a man who was holding items looking like a pistol and a grenade. Next to him there was a woman. Police and special services immediately came to the scene. The territory, on which the unknown was, was cordoned. All citizens who were in the recreation area were evacuated.

The representatives of law enforcement agencies held talks with the man. They managed to forcibly take his acquaintance to a safe distance.

At this point, the man shot himself in the chest, after which the grenade, which he held in his hand, exploded. The man died on the spot. Investigative Committee of the Penza region is conducting pre-investigation.

As it became known later, before the shot the man, whose name was Sergei Kosolapov, confessed to have committed the double murder.
