Resident of Penza region convicted of double murder

Penza, 25 June 2014. PenzaNews. A 28-year-old resident of Boltino village, Kameshkirsky area, the Penza region was sentenced to imprisonment for the murder of two women.

The crime was committed in December 2013 — police found the bodies of two women, 34 and 55 years of age, with signs of violent death in the cellar of a house.

“Investigators in conjunction with the police conducted activities in the result f which they established that a 28-year-old owner of the house was involved in the crime. One of the victims was his mistress,” the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza, Media relations, LyudmilaFomina.

According to her, in the evening all the three of them were drinking alcohol. After the 55-year-old woman went home, the man and his mistress came to grips, during the conflict the man stabbed the woman in the neck, she died on the spot.

“At the moment, the other woman returned. To hide the previously committed murder, the attacker stabbed her at least six times with a knife. He buried the dead bodies in the cellar of the house,” the agency interlocutor added.

The court sentenced the offender to 17 years in prison.
