Penza, 8 July 2014. PenzaNews. Preventive measure in the form of detention was elected by the court against Mikhail Leontiev accused of killing 30-year-old resident of Penza Maria Lipilina and 29-year-old Ramil Kadyshev from Zasechny.

As the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzaNews,” the man was accused of committing crimes under part 2, Art. 105 of the Criminal Code “Murder” and part 1, Art. 222 of the Criminal Code “Illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, its main parts, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices.”

“During the arrest, he was found to possess a TT pistol and ammunition,” the agency interlocutor reminded.

She added that currently the investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, on May 8, 2014, the resident of Ternovka village Maria Lipilina, born 1984 ,and the resident of Zasechny Ramil Kadyshev, born 1985, went missing in Penza. According to reports, on the day of their disappearance the young people were last seen in the shopping center “Retail Park” in Penza.

On May 30, Sergei Kosolapov confessed to the murder of the missing — he was not far from the hotel “Lastochka” holding a grenade and a gun. There was a his friend beside him, whom law enforcement officers managed to take away to a safe distance. Some time later, Sergei Kosolapov shot himself in the chest, after which there was a grenade explosion. As a result, the man died on the spot. As it became known later, during negotiations with the police, he sought a meeting with Mikhail Leontiev.

In June 2014, the relatives of Maria Lipilina and Ramil Kadyshev, as well as the mother of Irina Alyoshina who died a few years ago, participated in "Priamoy Efir” [Live] on the TV channel “Russia 1,” where they suggested that the listed murders may involve Mikhail Leontiev.

On Friday, July 4, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region spread information that Mikhail Leontiev was arrested and taken to the regional Investigation Department of Russia to establish his involvement in the commission of certain crimes.
