Penza, 14 August 2014. PenzaNews. The Belinsky district court of the Penza region found a local resident guilty of illegally possessing ammunition for almost 30 years.

“In 1985, the man bought and brought home 98 ammunition rounds for a 5.6 –mm rifle belonging to the category of industry-made ammunition designed for sports and hunting rifled firearms,” the official representative of the court told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He added that police at the scene seized all the ammunition.

“At the hearing the man consented to the charges against him, admitted guilt in full, repented of his deed. The court sentenced the man to 6 months of imprisonment with a probation period of 6 months,” the department summarized.
