Penza, 10 September 2014. PenzaNews. Rescuers recovered a body of a worker who died in the oilcake silo collapse at the sunflower oil factory located in Penza on Austrina street, 133.
According to reports, the fatally injured worker was a young man.
Currently, the police and investigating authorities continue to work at the scene.
As the correspondent of news agency “PenzaNews,” Labor Inspectorate specialists also arrived at the factory in order to verify safety of the production line.
The collapse of the oilcake (raw material waste discarded during the production of sunflower oil), which was stockpiled in the Penza factory on Austrina Street, occurred on Wednesday morning, September 10.
The police received the report at 9.10 am.
The representatives of all emergency services were immediately summoned to the incident scene.
Circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
