Penza, 11 September 2014. PenzaNews. Two businessman from Belinsky district of the Penza region received fines of 10 000 roubles each for selling watermelons in the wrong place.

As the official representative of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs of the Penza region Yana Zagrebelnaya told news agency “PenzaNews,” the penalty was not paid within the time allowed for voluntary payment, and the bailiffs took recourse upon the product (watermelons), their total cost at 22 thousand rubles.

“Due to the fact that the cost of the arrested products installed by the bailiff accounted for less than 30 thousand rubles, in accordance with Art. 87 ‘Disposal of the debtor’s property’ Federal Law No. 229 ‘On Enforcement Proceedings,’ the debtors filed a petition for self-realization of the product. The bailiff satisfied the petition, and after 4 days the amount of debt has been repaid in full,” the agency interlocutor explained.
