“The court found that the man has been registered in the FPS criminal-executive inspection in the Penza region since November 2013. He received a warrant for 240 hours of compulsory work in a Penza municipal enterprise ‘Zhilyo-16.’ According to the report, during the first month, the convict served only 16 hours of compulsory work, and in December — 44 hours,” the spokesman of Pervomaysky district court of Penza told PenzaNews agency.
He added that afterwards, the man evaded the compulsory work without having a valid reason to do so.
“As a result, the court upheld the claim of criminal executive inspection to change the compulsory work sentence to actual imprisonment,” the spokesman said, adding that the decision has already came into force.
