MIA: 14-year old girl died in car collision with Penza bus

Penza, 31 October 2014. PenzaNews. A 14-year old girl died when a Chevrolet car collided with a Penza—Moscow bus on the M5 Ural federal highway in Ryazan region, Shatsk area, on Friday, October 31.  As the official representative of the regional MIA department, the girl was sitting on the back seat to the right when the collision occurred.

“The second passenger of the car, a woman born in 1973 who was sitting at the front passenger seat, was brought into intensive care, and her vitals are not good,” the agency interlocutor added.

He also described the events of the accident.

“We established that a 53-year old Saransk inhabitant who was driving the Chevrolet car on way to Moscow, touched the right skid row while overtaking another car, and the vehicle swerved over to the opposite lane, where it collided with a Neoplan passenger bus driven by a 43-year old Penza inhabitant,” the Ryazan region MIA department spokesperson elaborated.

According to the spokesperson, both drivers were unharmed.

“A 34-year old passenger of the bus was hospitalized to the surgery department of the Shatsk regional hospital with knee fracture,” the agency interlocutor explained.

The officials are investigating the site.
