Penza, 17 November 2014. PenzaNews. The officials revealed the facts of sham registration in Zelenovka village, Serdobsky area, the Penza region.

“The prosecutor’s office found that from April to September 2014, a local resident registered in the department of FMS four citizens of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, born in 1982, 1986, 1974 and 2012. The stated people have not been present at the registration address ever since arrived to the Russian Federation. Moreover, it was found that the house located at this address was not suitable for living,” Yuliya Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region in Media Relations, informed PenzaNews agency.

She added that the home owner did not intend to let the people use the house, knowing that they would not live there.

“As a result, the foreigners were illegally registered in the house and were granted the right to stay on the territory of Russia, which violated the established order. A criminal case on fictitious registration of foreign citizens was instituted based on the prosecutor’s check results,” the agency interlocutor commented.
