Penza, 4 December 2014. PenzaNews. A 29-year-old resident of Penza became a victim of fraud trying to buy a 56,000-rubles mink coat for from a stranger over a social network.

“The victim transferred 22 thousand rubles as advance payment through an ATM, after which the ‘seller’ blocked the page,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews agency.

The department noted that, according to the woman, she had heard about these methods of fraud, but nevertheless fell for it.

“The case is under investigation. Police officers are trying to identify those involved in the crime,” the press service said.
