Penza, 24 December 2014. PenzaNews. A Penza company “Uni Trade” was fined 700,000 rubles for organizing gambling activities outside the permitted gambling area.
“The court has found the company organized gambling activities using special equipment under the guise of charity lottery in one of its halls. However, the activities in question were completely unlike a charity lottery: in a nutshell, people gambled for money by depositing bank notes through special receivers. The evidence only confirmed the guilt of the company,” the official representative of the Pervomaisky area court of Penza told PenzaNews agency.
He pointed out the fact the court based its verdict on the type of violation, lack of excuses, and lack of aggravating factors.
“The verdict has been enacted,” the representative clarified.
