Penza, 16 January 2015. PenzaNews. A 12-year old girl died after a group of teenagers savagely beat her during a row in a forgotten house at Podgornoye village of the Bashmakovo area of the Penza region. The underage were drinking beer.

The police have opened a criminal case on murder.

“According to investigators, in the evening of Wednesday, January 14, the girl was drinking beer together with a company of her acquaintances, teenagers from 14 to 17 years old, in a forgotten house. A row occurred. During it, a 14-year old girl from the group hit the victim with a glass bottle, and a 17-year old male teenager began punching and kicking the underage girl, as well as hitting her with a wooden stick and a stone. The girl died on the scene from sustained injuries,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.

According to her, the case was solved without delay: the police have arrested the suspects.

“Currently, the officers are gathering evidence in order to establish the picture of the crime,” said the state official.
