Penza FDCS officers shut down 28 drug delivery channels in 2014

Penza, 27 January 2015. PenzaNews. The officers of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia in the Penza region shut down 28 illegal drug delivery channels in 2014, including seven spanning numerous countries of the world.

“Drug dealers tried to bring drugs into the region not only from neighboring countries, but also from China, the Netherlands, Ireland and the United States,” Elena Samorukova, Chief Expert of Information and Public Relations Group of Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation in the region, told PenzaNews agency.

She added that illegal drugs that arrived to the Penza region from other regions of Russia mostly came from Moscow.

“Almost half of the drug delivery cases from other regions is carried out by postal money orders, although in comparison with 2013 this figure fell by 18%, at only 28 cases compared to 34,” the agency interlocutor said.
