Penza, 1 March 2015. PenzaNews. The police of Zarechny city of the Penza region have solved a case of theft from an unguarded office of an insurance company.

“An unidentified culprit picked the keys to the office late at night and stole 25 blank OMI policy certificates, along with 50,000 rubles,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs informed PenzaNews agency.

According to officials, the officers investigated the employees of the office for their possible involvement in the crime and identified the culprit.

“The thief was a young girl, 23, who was working as an intern. She was questioned, and confessed to the crime. The stolen goods were seized,” the press service said.

The theft case is currently being reviewed with a possibility of a criminal case, the ministry representatives added.
