Penza “social sec officer” fraudster stole 60,000 rubles from elderly pensioner
Penza, 10 March 2015. PenzaNews. A fraudster posing as a social security officer stole 60,000 rubles from an elderly woman, 78, under the guise of currency exchange.
The fraudster left an empty envelope, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs informed PenzaNews agency.
“The incident is being investigated. The police are identifying and looking for the culprit,” the officials added.
The press service also provided the description of the suspect.
“Looks 35-40, 165-170 cm tall, average complexion, shoulder-length black hair, dressed in black coat with diamond pattern on the back, black skirt to the knees and black boots, wore a dark felt hat with a white stripe,” said the police.
