Internal Affairs Ministry: driver who killed woman on Inderka road had no driving license

Penza, 17 March 2015. PenzaNews. The resident of Inderka village in the Sosnovoborsk area of the Penza region, 59, who rammed a woman, 54, sitting on a road while driving a “GAZelle” car, did not have a traffic license, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs department informed PenzaNews agency.

According to officials, the driver tried to run away from the accident site, but was later apprehended.

“The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries, and later succumbed to them in the hospital,” the police reminded.

The driver confessed to driving into a pedestrian, the press service elaborated.

“We are investigating the incident, and deciding on initiating a criminal case,” the press service added.
