Penza, 17 March 2015. PenzaNews. Three women were killed in three different road accidents that occurred in the Penza region on Monday, March 16.

“A driver of a Kia Sportage hit a pedestrian, born in 1952, on the road section by Khvalynskaya street, 128, in Kuznetsk. The woman succumbed to injuries at the scene,” the press service of the regional traffic police department reported to PenzaNews agency.

The traffic police added that the second tragic accident occurred in the Lunino area: a driver of an “Ural” motorcycle with sidecar drove down into a ditch, hit a tree and tipped over.

“The passenger, born in 1992, was hospitalized with an open head injury, fractures of the parietal-temporal left bone, the left collar bone and a shoulder blade. Later, she died in hospital. The driver had a minor injury,” the press service noted.

According to the traffic police department, yet another fatal accident occurred in Inderka village, where a driver of a GAZ-3302 hit a woman, born in 1960.

“She was hospitalized with a head injury and fractured ribs on the right side. Later, the woman died in hospital,” the traffic police representative noted.

The department said that all the incidence are under investigation.
