Penza, 22 March 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza citizen, 28, lost money to a fraud trying to buy a batch of baby diapers from warehouse storage.

“She found an online ad on a website and called the phone number. The woman signed an online shipping order, while the seller offered her to pay for the goods in advance using a bank card. The woman transferred 138,000 rubles to the designated bank account, and afterwards the seller’s website and phone number became inaccessible,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs department informed PenzaNews agency.

The woman said she was informed of such fraud schemes, but still trusted the seller, said the law enforcement body.

“The fraud case is currently being investigated. The police are establishing the identities of the culprits. It was identified the unknown person was calling from a phone number registered in another city,” the press service said.
