Penza pensioner with over 20 years of penal colony record accused of murder
Penza, 3 April 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza citizen, 63, has been accused of murder. The same man had a very extensive criminal record, including two murders.
“According to investigators, late on March 26, 2015, the accused was visiting his friend, 46, in the latter’s flat on Suvorova street, drinking with him and a person whom he barely knew. The flat owner and the accused had a row, during which the latter grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. The owner of the flat died on the scene from the injury,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.
According to her, the accused has been detained on court orders.
“The man had already spent over 20 years in prison before,” the speaker noted.
The murder case is still under investigation, Lyudmila Fomina added.
