Penza, 3 April 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza citizen, 38, has lost 30,000 rubles to a woman scammer while trying to buy a BMW X5 online.

“While browsing Avito.ru, the man found an ad for a broken-down car. He called the phone number and agreed with the unknown woman on the deal. Following the woman’s instructions, the Penza citizen transferred 30,000 rubles to her bank account, but did not receive the car,” the press service of the regional Ministry of the Interior informed PenzaNews agency.

According to them, a criminal case on fraud has been inituated.

“The police are taking measures to identify the culprits. The phone numbers in the ad were registered in another city,” the press service said.
