Penza, 7 April 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza woman working as a real estate agent is accused of committing three acts of fraud for nearly 4.5 million rubles in total that resulted in several citizens losing rights to their housing.

“According to investigators, the accused gained confidence of several alcohol addicts and lonely citizens under the pretext of assisting in favorable apartment sale and purchase of smaller housing with extra pay from June 2012 to February 2013. The woman searched for buyers herself and received money from the sales,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed PenzaNews agency.

The ministry added that the woman stole the money received from the sales.

“With the help of friends she forced the clients out of their former apartments, took away their IDs and sent them to the barracks in the town of Sursk in the Gorodishche area,” the department said.

The police noted that as a result of crimes committed by the accused, currently the three victims are left with no registration or any house.

“The criminal case materials have been sent to the court for review on the merits,” the press service clarified.
