Penza, 30 April 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza region citizen, born in 1986, rammed a traffic police officer after the latter tried to flag down the motorcycle driver in question for a traffic rules violation.

“The accident took place on Ternovskovo street at 16.10 of Wednesday, April 29,” the press service of the Ministry of the Interior regional department informed PenzaNews agency.

According to them, the traffic police inspector was hospitalized with slight injuries.

“He was treated and then allowed to return home,” the press service explained.

The motorcycle driver was detained right at the scene, the department clarified.

“He will be held liable according to the Russian legislation,” the Ministry of the Interior stressed, adding that an investigation is currently ongoing.
