Penza, 4 May 2015. PenzaNews. Two Penza students, 20, are suspected of stealing soda from a vending machine installed in their educational institution.

The culprits damaged the top cover of a private-owned mechanism, the press service of the regional Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

“The investigators were dispatched to the location. The police seized the CCTV recordings inside the building, and identified the potential culprits, two students of the educational institution. They were questioned, and confessed to the crime,” the department reported.

According to the press service, the police opened a criminal case on theft.

“The suspects were released on pledge not to leave town,” the law authorities said.
