Penza, 21 May 2015. PenzaNews. A disabled girl, 11, died after falling from the window of her flat on the ninth floor of an apartment building on Ternovskovo street of Penza.

“The accident took place on Wednesday, May 20. The child sustained lethal injuries. The Investigative Committee in the Penza region is conducting a preliminary investigation,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, informed PenzaNews agency.

According to preliminary results, the young girl, who was disabled from an early age, was alone in the flat at the time of the accident, she added.

“We are holding a medical examination and gathering the evidence to fully establish the picture of the accident,” the speaker concluded.
