Penza professor received suspended sentence for taking computer unit as bribe

Penza, 26 May 2015. PenzaNews. A professor of the Penza multidisciplinary college, 30, was found guilty of taking a bribe and received a suspended sentence of 3 years.
“The court and the police found that the woman received a bribe, a personal computer unit that cost 9,000 rubles, from her students in March 2015 inside the college building, and then instructed the students to transport the computer unit to her apartment building and give it to her husband. Through this action, the students received satisfactory marks on her exam without having the knowledge to deserve the mark,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, informed PenzaNews agency.
Afterwards, the professor herself added the falsified “satisfactory” exam marks to the students’ report books, she added.
