Four pedestrian hit in Penza region traffic accidents over one day

Penza, 30 May 2015. PenzaNews. A total of four pedestrians, including two children, were hit by cars and received varying injuries in the Penza region on Friday, May 29.
“A woman driving an Audi 80 hit a girl born in 2001 in Nikolsk at 8.50 am, causing elbow and knee injuries,” the press office of the regional traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency.
At 10.45, a Ford Transit hit an elderly person born in 1936 on Baumana street of Penza, the police added.
“She was diagnosed with closed head injury, a concussion and temple bruise,” they clarified.
The third traffic accident took place on Borodina street at 11.50 am, the press office continued.
“The driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer, born in 1970, hit a woman born in 1974 and then hit a tree. The pedestrian was hospitalized and diagnosed with c-spine distortion and head bruise,” the traffic police department explained.
At 12.45, a driver of VAZ-21124 hit a young boy born in 2006 at 12.45, causing left thigh bruises.
“We are investigating the traffic accidents and recreating the pictures of the events,” the press service reported.
