“The man smuggled a child of his and the former wife to Turkey in late April 2015, keeping it a secret from her. He called the woman from the country in question, telling her he left for good and has no plans to bring the daughter back to the mother,” Olga Evdokimova, the head of the press service for the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department, informed PenzaNews agency.
Before leaving, the Zarechny resident sold his furniture located in a rented flat to the owners of the residence, she noted.
“The man was accompanied in his trip abroad by his current wife and their child. We are currently searching for them,” the speaker added.
According to some sources, the man’s leave can be attributed to his recent conversion to Islam: however, there is no official confirmation of this information.
