Penza resident beaten in restaurant yard brawl dies in hospital
Penza, 17 June 2015. PenzaNews. A resident of Kuznetsk town, 30, has died in hospital on Wednesday, June 17. He succumbed to his injuries after he had been beaten in a brawl late at night into June 13 that took place beside a restaurant located on Moskovskaya street of Penza city.
“According to preliminary data, he was injured during a quarrel. The police has initiated a criminal case under section A, part 3, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code, titled ‘Intentional Infliction of a Grave Injury’,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.
The investigators together with police officers established the identities of the culprits involved in the crime, she added.
“These are three citizens of Penza, born in 1994 and 1996,” clarified the speaker.
Due to the death of the victim of an assault, the criminal case will now be investigated under part 4, Art 111 of the Criminal Code, Lyudmila Fomina explained.
“The police are considering the pre-investigation punishment,” she added.
