Penza, 18 June 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza woman, 30, got caught in an online fraud trying to buy a husky breed puppy through the Internet.

“When she called the phone number listed in an ad, she was told she only needs to pay for the shipping from Moscow to buy the dog. Following the unknown person’s instructions, she wired over 7,400 rubles,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

A criminal case has been initiated, they added.

“The police are working on identifying the culprits. The phone number used by the creator of the ad is registered in another city,” the press service said.
