Penza, 30 June 2015. PenzaNews. An officers of a private security force have detained a resident of Kondol village in the Penza region, 41, who is suspected of hijacking a medical emergency truck after he rammed a building railing while driving the vehicle.

“Shortly after the detention, the Penza area police received a complaint from a driver of the area hospital. He explained that he left the car parked by his house in daytime unattended with keys in the ignition: when he returned 20 minutes later, the car was gone,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The suspected hijacker was convoyed to a police station, and the driver got the vehicle back.

“We are investigating the case,” the police remarked.
