Penza, 4 July 2015. PenzaNews. A traffic accident involving a police officer driving a police car and a cyclist that took place late on Friday, July 3, on Transportnaya street of Penza, is under review.

“The police officer on duty and in uniform was driving a police car when he collide with a cyclist who suddenly cleared a turn while on a one-way road and driving in the opposite direction. According to preliminary information, the accident was caused by the cyclist,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

An investigation will establish the actual cause of the accident, they noted.
