Penza, 13 July 2015. PenzaNews. Fifty drivers were detained by the traffic police in the Penza region for driving under influence on the weekend, July 11-12.

The preventive action “Drunk Driver” concluded on Monday, July 13.

“Throughout its duration, we stopped drivers and checked them for drunk behavior, with a law-dictated alcohol checks if necessary,” the press service of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency.

They added that the campaign mostly aimed at ensuring the safety on roads and also preventing DUI-related accidents.
