“According to preliminary data, the boy was with his parents. The father went away for a short while, and the mother was asleep, and the boy went into water,” Yulia Pilyasova, acting senior assistant head of the investigative department in the Penza region for Press Relations, told PenzaNews agency.

According to available information, the father has been living in the tent on the riverbank for a long time, and the mother with the child joined him a week ago, she added.
