Penza, 5 August 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza citizen became a victim of a fraud when trying to find job in the Penza city administration as a driver.

“He found a job ad online. He called the phone number, and the man who introduced himself as a Vladimir Sergeevich invited him for an interview. On the way there, the man received another call from the person, who asked to transfer 6,200 rubles to his phone account,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The victim followed the request of the man he took for an employer, but found no such person on arrival to the Penza city administration hall.

“The police have found out that both the calling number and the transfer recipient account are registered in the Tambov region. An investigation is currently underway,” the press service added.
