Penza, 11 August 2015. PenzaNews. As the law enforcement source informed PenzaNews agency, a man, who applied to the prosecutor of the Penza region on the fact of wage non-payment, tried to commit self-immolation in the lobby of the building.

According to the source, the man covered himself with petrol, but was unable to complete the act thanks to the police officers who stopped him.

The prosecutor's office of the Penza region refused to comment on the incident on the phone.

“We do not provide the information on the phone. If you are interested, please, give an official media inquiry to the office, and we will give you an official answer,” Nina Shcherbakova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region told PenzaNews agency.

The press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported that at the moment there is no information about the incident in the building of the prosecutor's office of the Penza region.
