Bashmakovo resident charged with 200 hours compulsory work for kill threat

Bashmakovo, 8 September 2015. PenzaNews. A resident of the Bashmakovo village of the Penza region, born in 1988, was found guilty of crime under Part 1, Art. 119 of the Criminal Code, titled “Threat of Murder or Infliction of Grave Injury to Health.”

“The investigation found that the man came to his sister’s house in the evening of June 7, 2015, while being inebriated. They had a row, and the woman demanded him to leave. The culprit grabbed a kitchen knife and started swinging at his sister, threatening to kill her, and the woman had all the rights to fear for her life,” Yulia Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the region in Media Relations, informed PenzaNews agency.

The court obliged to the demands of the state prosecutor to charge the man with 200 hours of compulsory labor, she added.
