Penza, 4 October 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza citizen, 45, fell victim to a fraud in an attempt to buy an air conditioning system for a Chrysler car online.

“The man found a relevant ad and called the phone number listed in it. An anonymous person told him the online store does have the required air conditioning system, and offered him to make an advance transaction of 18,000 rubles,” the press service of the regional Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The man followed the request, but did not receive the order, they added.

“The case is under investigation. The police are identifying the culprits. We know that the victim called a phone number registered in a different city,” the press service elaborated.
